For so long, everything remained beautiful. Stars twinkled and blinked above us perpetually, sweeping over the sky in a gentle haze of pale blue; the sun never shone where we were, but the stars were enough for us, Steve- the stars of the ever-evening sky and the fading blue stars in your eyes.
